The Ambition team from the University of Science and Technology, one of the member schools of the University of Da Nang, has been crowned the winner of the Build On, Viet Nam 2021 organised by Amazon Web Services-AWS in an online form. This was a competitive hackathon that challenges the community to create technological initiatives and solutions to address challenges faced by participating sponsors.

The Da Nang team consisted of 4 students, namely Nguyen Thai Minh, Pham Xuan Sang, Do Tuan Son and Hoang Tien Hai Dang, jointly developing the winning entry entitled ‘The Future of Education’ - LMS learning management system (Fued Platform) aimed at supporting online teaching and learning activities.

The Build On, Viet Nam 2021 attracted a large number of participants who were students from universities, colleges and senior high schools, developers and cloud enthusiasts with coding skills eager to create a positive impact in the business community with the power of technology.

The multi-week hackathon was a chance for the participants to learn the latest tech skills, have their project mentored by AWS professionals, and compete with coders all over Viet Nam for prizes. In addition, coached by AWS experts and leaders, they gained a deeper insight into the fundamentals of Cloud Computing.

Viet Nam's top 3 national teams will represent Viet Nam at the regional Build On, ASEAN 2021 Competition.
