The happiness of pupils and their parents upon reception of timely support
Vo N.A, a 4th grader of Vo Thi Sau Primary School, Hoa Minh Ward, was sent by her mother to stay at her aunt's house because of her family’s financial difficulties. Last year, although she also studied online, her mother often came and gave her phone to N.A for her study online temporarily.
This year, due to the strict pandemic prevention and control regulations, every time N.A’s teacher transfers a lesson, her mother has to call her aunt to read the topic for her to write down and then do the exercise, then do the same process like that vice versa to submit her homework.
However, she now is able to study online with her friends by using a new computer granted by the school. Having received big support from the school, N.A and her mother have really been overjoyed. From that day, she can actively study fully classes with classmates at her aunt's house to continue to pursue her academic path.
In this new school year, a large number of pupils in Lien Chieu District, especially pupils at the primary school level, do have not access to online learning facilities due to their family’s financial burdens as the result of the pandemic. Therefore, Lien Chieu District chapter of the Education and Training Department has continuously mobilized schools and sponsors, departments and divisions of the District Administration Center to support online learning facilities such as computers, headphones for poor pupils locally during this hard period of fighting against the COVID-19 pandemic.
