First schools in Da Nang allowed to welcome pupils back for classroom learning
The Da Nang Department of Education and Training has just issued official guidance on the resumption of on-campus schooling for students in mountainous Hoa Bac Commune, Hoa Vang District and the twelfth graders in the Le Quy Don Senior High School for the Gifted.
The aforementioned decision came amid the encouraging fact that the COVID-19 pandemic in Da Nang has been brought under control,
In detail, the first graders of the Hoa Bac Primary School and ninth graders of the Nguyen Tri Phuong Junior High School will be allowed to return to school on Monday, October 18.
On October 25, the second graders at the Hoa Bac Primary School will resume classroom learning.
On November 1, pupils from Year 1 - 9 in the remaining schools in this mountainous commune will re-access their on-campus study.
On October 25, the twelfth graders of the Le Quy Don Senior High School for the Gifted will go back to school for face-to-face education in preparation for national exams for excellent pupils and the national senior high school graduation exam as well.
As per request of the Department, the aforementioned schools must prepare all necessary conditions to be ready to resume on-campus education with keeping educational staff and pupils safe the top priority. The strict practice of COVID-19 preventive rules based on the guidance of the Vietnamese Ministry of Health must be put in place.
Before going to school, during and after each classroom session, teachers and pupils shall strictly comply with COVID-19 prevention regulations.
