Da Nang's Dong A University reaches agreements with its three Japanese partners
Da Nang –based Dong A University has said that it has reached final agreements with its three Japanese partners, namely ASK International, H.I.S Group and We Are Asean- a non-profit organistion at the Viet Nam - Japan Investment Promotion Conference held in Tokyo on November 25.
As part of his four-day official visit to Japan, starting on November 22, at the invitation of his Japanese counterpart Fumio Kishida, Vietnamese Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh attended the conference and witnessed the signing of over 40 cooperation agreements between Vietnamese agencies and businesses and their Japanese partners.
Under their agreement, ASK International with work with the Dong A University to use the online teaching software to offer Japanese language courses and TOEIC test preparation courses in Viet Nam, and then expanding into a number of Southeast Asian countries. In addition, they will cooperate in translating books from Japanese into Vietnamese and publishing them, as well as develop educational programs for students who study nursing, food service and retail management and more.
The Dong A University and H.I.S Group will work together to facilitate students on tourism courses at the university to understand the knowledge, skills, attitudes, and the work culture needed in managing hotels, restaurants, and travel, as well as access Japanese language courses in order to help them find it easier to get paid internship and work in Japan.
The University will work with the non-profit organization We Are Asean to train qualified nurses who can work both in Japan and Viet Nam.
