Da Nang's students in grades 10 and 11 'excited' for first day
Monday, November 29 marked the first time back in the classroom for students in grades 10 and 11 across Da Nang after they have been in fully remote learning because of the COVID-19 pandemic. All of them got excited to go back to school for first day despite the wet weather.

In their efforts to ensure effective control of the pandemic, senior high schools are seen strictly following COVID-19 safety and health protocols in line with the guidance from the Ministry of Education and Training, the municipal departments of Education and Training, and Health.
The schools are opening with the protective measures and learning options in a bid to maintain the environment that are as safe as possible for its teachers and students.
Temperature measuring devices, face masks, hand sanitizers, and areas to wash hands are available to students. COVID-19 preventive measures are provided in the school with visual reminders to help students to protect themselves and others from the virus.
Schools are using lane separations for students at entry and exit points in order to limit crowding at these areas.
In addition, private rooms are allocated to isolate suspected COVID-19 cases or quarantine close contacts.
Students in grades 10 and 11 will be reviewed their prior knowledge from online learning on their first week of school.
According to the Da Nang Department of Education and Training, most students in grades 10, 11 and 12 across the city have been fully vaccinated against COVID-19 so senior high schools find it convenient to resume in-person classes.
