Rate of enrollment for international education up over 25%
The Centre for International Education of the Da Nang University of Economics, on Wednesday, held an event to review its performance of the 2020 - 2021 school year and the enrollment results for the 2021 - 2022 school year.
Accordingly, in the 2020 - 2021 school year, the centre operated four classes with a number of 162 students with outstanding academic results.
In order to ease financial difficulties triggered by COVID-19 facing students, the centre reduced over VND480 million worth of tuition fees for them and grant 49 scholarships with a total value of over VND550 million to those with high academic achievement.
In the academic year 2021 - 2022, the number of applications and admissions for international training courses increased by more than 30% and 25%, respectively as compared to the previous years).
In the coming time, the centre will complete the necessary procedures to soon open a major entitled ‘International Tourism Management’ in association with the Coventry University and promoting the enrollment for studying abroad for transfer students.
