Relax and re-energize
Dork Dancing, an event belonging to a series of activities to raise awareness about mental health organised by VNUK, has attracted many students and professors due to its benefits. During this activity, vibrant music and enthusiastic dance moves seemed to bring people closer even though some people are out of tune. It appears that Dork Dancing helps people to remind themselves that no matter how busy life gets, don't forget to care for your inner self.
Besides, VNUK has organized numerous painting experience sessions for students to participate in on weekends. Especially, participants in this session do not need to have much painting experience but just need a relaxed and peaceful spirit. This is also an opportunity for students to unwind, discover themselves, and bond with their friends.
An array of unique experiences
In addition, VNUK female students are given special priority to join in interesting and practical makeup lessons with Ms Ban Tram, a famous makeup artist. She shared her secrets in this field with the participants so that they know how to properly clean their skin and choose the right makeup tone. Tieu My, a VNUK student, said that having makeup artists practice makeup on stage helps her visualize the makeup process and apply it to her daily life more easily.
Through this activity, the VNUK aims to convey to girls the message of female beauty “Love makeup and makeup every day does not mean that you think your rustic self is not beautiful because makeup helps you realize that you can be more beautiful every day when looking in the mirror”.
These classes such as yoga, pressed flower art, painting, and makeup have been organized to help students regain positive energy after a long time of studying online due to the influence of COVID-19.
As shared by artist Lyn Nga, who is responsible for pressed flower art classes, pressed dried flowers to show the rustic beauty of nature. Flowers in particular and plants, in general, have always reminded us that we are only a small part of nature.
Regardless of the circumstances, plants are always natural gifts for each person as they bring a lot of joy and happiness to us. That is also the reason why the VNUK has had the initiative to bring the art of pressing flowers to students to create more unique experiences and support their spiritual life.
