The Dong A University, one of the highly popular private tertiary establishments in Da Nang, successfully held a scientific research contest for its students in 2022.

At the contest, 35 topics were selected to be represented in two forms of powerpoint and poster. As reported, many of them topics are related to the field of food technology, agriculture, community tourism, business administration in the digital age, and encouragingly, they are evaluated as community service applications and may be developed into startup products such as Smart rice cooker controlled and monitored by phone, Slow Travel in Da Nang and Effects of FOMO to the online shopping intention of Gen Z in Da Nang.

At the contest, in order to promote scientific research and entrepreneurship among its students, the Dong A University's Fund on supporting students to conduct scientific research and startup creation spent VND2 billion on commercialising highly-applicable products and developing innovative student’s startup projects.
