The Da Nang People's Committee has issued a plan to implement digital transformation in vocational education city-wide by 2025, with a vision towards 2030.

Specifically, by 2025, 50% of the teachers and vocational education administrators will be trained to enhance their capacity and pedagogical methods suitable for training implementation on the digital environment; 70% of the all-leveled training programme’s output standards are integrated with digital capabilities and the content of the programme is suitable to the method and process of implementing digital transformation; 100% of the colleges and intermediate schools digitise the learning process, learning outcomes and diplomas, all of which integrated into the digital environment.

By 2030, 100% of the teachers and vocational education managers to be trained and retrained to improve their capacity in pedagogical methods in order to deploy training in the digital environment and 100% of the schools meeting high quality standards are digital ones.

As for main tasks and solutions under the aforementioned plan, focus will be on perfecting institutions, mechanisms and policies for digital transformation in the field of vocational education; developing training programmes at all levels of vocational education in accordance with the requirements of digital transformation in the economy and international integration; developing infrastructure, platforms, equipment and digital learning materials; accelerating digital capacity for teachers and vocational education administrators and innovate teaching and learning methods; raising awareness of international cooperation; ensuring network safety and security.

The Da Nang People's Committee has assigned the municipal Department of Information and Communications to be in charge of implementation. The municipal Department of Labour, Invalids and Social Affairs, vocational education institutions, relevant agencies and units shall make coordination in the plan implementation process in 2022 - 2030 period.
