Da Nang offers 100% of eligible public services online at level 4
Da Nang has the highest mobile Internet speed among Viet Nam's most populous cities at 41.75 Mbps, according to the municipal Department of Information and Communications. Can Tho City is ranked second, and Ha Noi and Ho Chi Minh City share the 3rd place.

Till date, the city has formed basic databases such as citizens, businesses, demographics, household registration, land, cadres and civil servants, plus 560 specialised databases.
Local departments, agencies and districts have deployed specialised State management and database software to simulate all operations and form shared data in each unit.
According to a report released by the Information Security Department under the Ministry of Information and Communications, Da Nang was ranked A, leading in the information security ranking index in 2020 and 2021.
The city has provided 100% of eligible public services online at level 4. In addition to public administrative services, out-of-one-stop-shop procedures have been offered online at level 4 and public career services are about to be provided online at level 4 on the city’s Public Service Portal.
According to the assessment of the Ministry of Information and Communications, Da Nang's digital economy in 2021 contributed 12.57% to the rate of its GRDP. 83.14% of enterprises based in the city have used electronic contracts, 100% have used electronic invoices, and 69% have paid taxes online.
Da Nang was included in top 3 leading localities in the e-commerce index in 2021 after Ha Noi and Ho Chi Minh City.
Till date, the city has completed 7 out of the 20 targets set in its Digital Transformation Action Plan in 2022, and the remaining 13 targets are being implemented.
The completed targets are the rate of online public service level 4, the proportion of the digital economy in GRDP, the percentage of enterprises using e-invoices, the city data centre, the rate of people aged 15 years and over who have transaction accounts at banks or other authorised organisations, the percentage of people with unique medical ID codes and personal electronic health records, and the percentage of students with ID codes and electronic school records.
The aforementioned information was released at a meeting held in the city on Thursday to review the implementation of digital transformation the third quarter of 2022.
In his closing speech at the meeting, municipal People's Committee Chairman Le Trung Chinh suggested the Department of Information and Communications soon complete the reports to send to relevant agencies and district-level authorities for the implementation, as well as propose to the Ministry of Information and Communications the problems that the city has not yet solved.
He asked the Department of Information and Communications to coordinate with other relevant units to prepare well for some seminars and conferences on digital transformation and information technology which are about to take place in the city in the near future.
Chairman Chinh underlined a must-do to expand the model of community digital technology teams in residential groups, as well as soon put the Smart Operating Monitoring Centre and the Integrated Green & Smart Urban Resilience Control Centre into operation.
