Phan Chau Trinh Senior High School celebrates 70th birthday
The Da Nang-based Phan Chau Trinh Senior High School held a ceremony on Thursday morning to celebrate its 70th birthday.

In her speech delivered at the ceremony, Da Nang People's Committee Vice Chairwoman Ngo Thi Kim Yen praised the school's remarkable achievements on its 70-year journey of construction and growth, significantly contributing to the city's educational cause.
Vice Chairman Yen wished that the school's management, staff, teachers and pupils will continue to preserve and promote the tradition of teaching and elarning, improve the quality of teachers and administrators, uphold the spirit of solidarity and creativity, implement new general education curriculum (GEC, 2018) for 10th grades during the 2022-2023 academic year, and perform well its tasks.
On the occasion, the school was awarded a Certificate of Merit by the Ministry of Education and Training, and the Emulation Flag by the municipal People's Committee in recognition of its excellent achievements over the past 7 decades.
The Phan Chau Trinh High School was established on September 15, 1952, and its first campus was located at the Da Nang Primary School (currently known as the Phu Dong Primary School).
