The University of Da Nang (UDN) in collaboration with the municipal Department of Science and Technology, on Saturday, organised the 4^th edition of the Creative Youth Festival entitled ‘Spreading Spirit of Youth Creativity’ at the city-based University of Education.

The festival featured more than 40 typical scientific and technological topics and products developed by local students. These have won outstanding prizes at UDN-hosted scientific research competitions for students during the 2021-2022 academic year, and contests for innovative startup ideas at all levels.

To mark this occasion, the UDN gave out Scientific Research Student Awards during the 2021-2022 school year. Amongst 24 excellent projects, the organisers gave 2 first, 2 second, 2 third and 2 consolation prizes, totalling VND 96 million.

Within the framework of the festival, signing ceremonies were held between the UDN and the National Innovation Centre under the Ministry of Planning and Investment; and the Authority of the Da Nang Hi-Tech Park and Industrial Parks.

Under the deals, the UDN and its partners will together organise conferences and forums on science and technology, start-up innovation and technology transfer, as well as develop startup innovation ecosystems in the fields of training, research, consulting, and the development and commercialisation of research products. In the coming time, the focus will be on developing high-quality human resources, and providing timely support for science and technology activities.
