Da Nang students enter World Scholar's Cup finals

The St. Nicholas School based in Da Nang held a ceremony on Sunday to honour its students who were finalists in The World Scholar's Cup (WSC).

Accordingly, two groups of the school students gained excellent results at the global round of the contest held in Nha Trang on September 16 and they will advance to the final rounds of WSC which is slated for September 11 - 16 at the Yale University, USA. The teams from the St. Nicholas School are also the only representatives of Da Nang at the finals of WSC.

To get to the finals, the teams beat their rivals in the regional and world rounds of the contest. The global rounds were held in Dubai (United Arab Emirates), Prague (Czech Republic), Bangkok (Thailand) and Nha Trang (Viet Nam). After that, the teams with excellent results were selected to the finals to be held at the Yale University, USA.

The World Scholar's Cup is open to students from 8-18 years old around the world, aiming to create an international playground for them to express themselves and challenge their knowledge. Every year, the competition attracts the participation of thousands of students from more than 70 countries and territories.
