Virtual signing ceremonies on educational cooperation between the University of Da Nang, and the Politehnica University of Bucharest in Romania, and the University of Portsmouth in the UK, took place on Wednesday.

Under the cooperation deal, the University of Da Nang and the Politehnica University of Bucharest will promote unlimited cooperation in implementing joint research and development projects; co-organising international scientific conferences, events and other academic activities; implementing exchange programmes for staff, researchers and students; sharing teaching information and documents; and creating opportunities to connect professors, scientists and researchers.

Meanwhile, the University of Portsmouth and the University of Da Nang will focus on exchanging lecturers, students and curricular; developing training and joint research programmes; seeking projects and funding sources for research in areas of interest and strength of both sides; and sharing experiences in organising major international conferences and seminars.

On the occasion, the University of Portsmouth entered into a cooperation agreement with the Da Nang-based Viet Nam-UK Institute for Research and Executive Education (VNUK).

Accordingly, the both sides will implement student exchange programmes with 5 students per year, carry out international projects as well as in professional activities, and create experience opportunities for their staff, experts and students.
