377 teams compete in 2022 ICPC Viet Nam finals
On Sunday, a total of 377 teams of 3 members each competed in the International Collegiate Programming Contest (ICPC) Viet Nam finals at 17 exam sites nationwide.

The Da Nang University of Science and Technology was selected as the national ICPC exam site in Central Viet Nam.
The central regional final round saw the participation of the University of Science and Technology, the University of Education, the Viet Nam - Korea Information Technology and Communications University, the FPT University, the Duy Tan University and the Le Quy Don Senior High School for the Gifted.
The ICPC Viet Nam aims to select high-achieving teams to participate in the ICPC Asia and the Informatics Olympiad 2022 which are slated for December in Ho Chi Minh City.
Top 4 finalists at the ICPC Viet Nam will represent the country at the ICPC Global in Egypt in 2023. ICPC is the oldest, largest, and most prestigious programming contest in the world, aiming to foster creativity, teamwork, and innovation in building new software programs, and enables students to test their ability to perform under pressure.
The University of Science and Technology - the University of Da Nang - has won many high rankings at national and Asian ICPC competitions. In particularly, the university brought home a gold medal at ICPC Asia 2021, and has been honoured as the best team among the participating teams at the 2022 Informatics Olympiad.
