Da Nang-based private university celebrates its 28th birthday
Da Nang’s Duy Tan University (DTU) celebrated its 28th birthday (11 November) on Friday morning.

The university now has a total of 1,222 officers, lecturers and staff members. 30.17% % of them are Professors, Associate Professors, and Doctors.
The university is offering 10 majors at doctoral level, 15 majors at master level and 47 majors at university level. It is providing 13 high-quality training programmes, 10 talent, advanced and on-site study abroad programmes granted by US universities, 2 second degree programmes and 7 distance learning programmes.
During that period, DTU has achieved high rankings in world university rankings. In particular, it is named among top 500 best universities in the world according to Times Higher Education (THE) Rankings 2023, and is ranked 145th place in QS Asia University Rankings 2023 released by UK-based education organisation Quacquarelli Symonds. Also, DTU is listed in Group 801-1000 best universities according to QS World University Rankings 2023, and top 577 best universities globally in 2022.
Moreover, the university has developed many training programmes that meet domestic and foreign quality accreditation. Specifically, its technology engineering major meets ABET accreditation standards, and 2 training programmes meet the UNWTO TedQual accreditation standards for the tourism industry.
Over the past decade, DTU's scientific research activities have developed strongly, and the university is named among the top 10 universities with the most international publications in Viet Nam.
On the occasion, DTU was awarded an emulation flag for the 2021-2022 academic year from the municipal People's Committee, and a certificate of passing the second cycle of educational quality accreditation from the Center for Education Accreditation under the Association of Vietnam Universities and Colleges.
