Da Nang University lecturer receives 2022 Golden Globe Award

Ten outstanding young individuals has received the Viet Nam Golden Globe Award by the Ministry of Science and Technology and the Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union Central Committee.

Dr. Phan Le Minh Tu, 33, who is working at the Gachon University, South Korea and the Faculty of Medicine and Pharmacy at the University of Da Nang has been honoured as one of the 10 outstanding young scientists, making him one of the 2022 Golden Globe Award winners, and one of the two honourees in the category of Medical and Pharmaceutical Technology.

The winners this year consists of 29 PhD holders, and 6 people with master's degrees.

The ten 2022 Golden Globe Award winners include leaders of national-level science and technology projects, those who developed projects being both high in efficiency and effectiveness, or conducted high-quality scientific research, or owned licensed patents and solutions, plus national and international science and technology award winners.

Co-organised by the Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union and the Ministry of Science and Technology, the annual Golden Globe Award aims to discover future talents in Science and Technology, as well as stimulate the creative abilities of Vietnamese young people.

The annual Golden Globe Award is open to Vietnamese citizens under the age of 35 with outstanding achievements in Science and Technology who are studying and carrying out research in the country or abroad.
