Promoting internationalisation of higher education

The University of Da Nang has held an international conference with the theme of internationalizing higher education and connecting Eurasian universities together.

Taking place over two days, the workshop included discussion sessions with many key topics such as internationalization of higher education, experiences from the University of Da Nang, the University of Zaragora (Spain) and the University of Mykolas Romeris (Lithuania), an international student exchange (Friends Teahouse) and short video creation contest (Digital Storytelling) for students (Varna Management University, Bulgaria), internationalisation from the practice of Indian universities, international cooperation management at the University of Da Nang.

This was an event within the framework of the international online project without borders (project HARMONY) funded by the European Union (EU), to contribute to improving integration capacity, promoting internationalization of higher education and cooperation in fields related to education and training and develop member network development.

The project has 11 members including institutes and universities from many Asian and European countries, and among them are theUniversity of Da Nang and the University of Quang Binh in Viet Nam.

To mark this occasion, the University of Da Nang signed memorandums of understanding on cooperation with Zaragoza University and Mykolas Romeris University, creating a basis for the development of activities to promote cooperation in the fields of training, scientific research, and exchange of lectures and students and coordinate the implementation of international projects.
