A working house of the University of Technical Education, and a house for study, practice and experimentation of the Faculty of Medicine and Pharmacy, were officially inaugurated on Tuesday morning.

As part of a project to build urgent items for the Da Nang University Village during the 2018-2020 period in Hoa Quy Ward, Ngu Hanh Son District, and Dien Ngoc Ward, Dien Ban Town, Quang Nam Province, the construction of the two works were approved by the Ministry of Education and Training in 2020, with a total investment of more than VND180 billion from the State budget and additional capital of the University of Da Nang.

The construction works were implemented together with the 40 ha site clearance project on the Da Nang side, with a capital of VND 678 billion from the backup source of the government’s medium-term public investment plan for the 2020-2025 period.

The inauguration of the two works aims to celebrate the 40^th anniversary of Vietnamese Teachers' Day (November 20), and create an important premise for the University of Da Nang to continue effectively implementing approved projects in the Da Nang University Urban Area in the coming time. Included are a 40ha site clearance project in Da Nang, and a project to build technical infrastructure and urgent works in Hoa Quy Ward, Ngu Hanh Son District, Da Nang and Dien Ngoc Ward, Dien Ban Town, Quang Nam Province with ODA funding from the World Bank.

At the same time, the newly-inaugurated works can meet the working, learning and practicing needs of students and teaching staff at the two educational institutions, thereby contributing to improving the quality of training and scientific research of member schools of the University of Da Nang.
