Cooperation on transfer programme for students
On Thursday, the Viet Nam - UK Research and Training Institute (VNUK) and the University of Da Nang signed a memorandum of understanding on boosting cooperation with the TMC Academy Singapore to implement a transfer programme for students majoring VNUK's International Hotel and Tourism Management.
Under the deal, after completing 2 years of study at VNUK, students majoring in International Hotel and Tourism Management will be transferred to the TMC Academy Singapore to continue their 3rd year programme. Then, they will choose to continue the final year of study in Singapore or the UK to receive a bachelor's degree from the University of Northampton (UK) or transfer to partner schools of the two units in Australia or Switzerland.
During their studies at the TMC Academy, students will get paid for internships and scholarships with 50% of tuition fees and internships at large restaurants and hotels in Singapore.
For many years, VNUK has cooperated with domestic and foreign partners to create favourable conditions for its students to access advanced educational programmes in the world, thereby meeting high quality human resources of Viet Nam's hospitality industry.
