Da Nang University of Science and Technology honoured with Second-class Independence Medal
On Saturday, the DaNang University of Science and Technology held a ceremony to receive a second-class Independence Medal.

On behalf of the city's leaders, Chairman of the Da Nang People's Committee Le Trung Chinh congratulated and highly appreciated the efforts and achievements that generations of teachers and students have achieved and these have made important contributions to the city’s development over recent years.
Chairman Chinh underlined a need for the school to promote its achievements, and at the same time, focus on performing well a number of tasks such as implementing an advanced governance model, having policies to attract highly qualified lecturers, updating the training program in connection with reality so that after graduation students can best meet the needs of enterprises.
Along with that, it is necessary to develop scientific research and technology transfer activities and strengthen cooperation relationships with international partners, especially large enterprises in training and scientific research.
"In the context of increasingly fierce competition in higher education, new requirements and new tasks are both an honour and a great responsibility of the university. The university needs to further enhance efficiency and quality in teaching and training performances, promote digital transformation and the application of advanced technologies, meet the requirements of innovation and development of education and training and affirm its position as one of the universities leading in terms of science and technology in the country”, emphasised Chairman Chinh.
