Seven students in Da Nang were honoured with the January Star Awards at a ceremony in Ha Noi on Sunday.

Held by the Viet Nam Students' Association (VSA), the ceremony aimed to celebrate the 73^rd anniversary of Traditional Day of Vietnamese students and the VSA (January 9).

During the event, 2 individual students and 2 student collectives from Da Nang won the ‘Students with Five Goods’ and ‘Student Collectives with Five Goods’ at central level respectively.

Two pupils from Da Nang were awarded with the central-level ‘Pupils with 3 Goods’ title, whilst two others took the central-level ‘Pupils with 3 Practices’ title.

In 2022, the whole country had a total of 85 students awarded with the ‘Students with Five Goods’ title, 30 student collectives with ‘Student Collectives with Five Goods’ title, 104 students with the January Star Awards.

Also, 684 students nationwide won the title of ‘Students with 3 Goods’, and 20 ‘Students with 3 Practices’ at the central level.
