The group comprises students Nguyen Thi Thuy Linh, Nguyen Thi Thuy Duong, Hoang Ha Thao Nhi, all from the Da Nang University of Economics, and Le Van Nam and Nguyen Viet Thang, both from the Da Nang University of Science and Technology.

This competition was jointly organied by the German Business Association (GBA) in Viet Nam and the German Academic Exchange Agency (DAAD).

The innovative business idea initiated by the Zeotic group is to produce environmentally-friendly building materials, especially facing flooring tiles with effective application, combining the two main materials: waste plastic and already-used zeolite.

The contest is held annually in Viet Nam to encourage Vietnamese students and young people to come up with new business ideas, which not only require creativity but also aim for sustainable and practical development to help them achieve their environmental protection goals.

The ideas are presented in English and must not be copyrighted and their creators have not registered for business.

Besides the Zeotic group, the University of Da Nang also had 2 other groups of students that also entered the top 5 with the idea of producing wine products from Pouteria lucuma and the idea of using HHO - a renewable energy source for generating water instead of emissions during fuel combustion.

It is known that 3 out of the 5 groups of students from the University of Da Nang who participated in the contest excellently overcame more than 70 teams from universities and academies across the country to reach the final round.

Thiswas also the third time in a row, 2020, 2021 and 2022 that students from the this university had won the championship at a large creative startup playground.
