Nguyen Minh Thu from the Nguyen Khuyen Junior and Senior High School, and Nguyen Do Bao Tram from the Ly Tu Trong Junior High School, were honoured with the national ‘Kim Dong’ Awards at an arts programme on Monday evening.

The arts programme was jointly organised at the Da Nang Children's Palace by the municipal youth Union and the city’s Team Council.

During the event, the organisers presented ‘Doremon’ scholarships to 20 outstanding pupils citywide.

In addition, the city’s Team Council awarded VND21 million to Trong Van Tu, residing in Cam Le District under the ‘One loving address per month’ programme.

Besides, Tet gifts, totalling VND14 million, were given to 20 disadvantaged children in Hai Chau and Cam Le districts.
