Career-guidance workshop for Da Nang high school pupils in era of AI
As many as 400 teachers, parents and high school pupils in Da Nang and Quang Nam Province were raised awareness about career choices and study plans in the era of artificial intelligence (AI) during a career orientation workshop on Saturday.
The event was co-organised by the Sky-Line Education System and the Da Nang Young Entrepreneurs’ Association.

During the workshop, leading experts and entrepreneurs in the fields of technology, innovation, and education management shared and discussed issues of special concern such as early career guidance, career trends and challenges that young workers will face in the era of AI.
According to experts, the job market in the digital age has been changed strongly. Statistics show that robots have replaced about 670,000 jobs in the United States from 1990 - 2007 and this trend will continue to increase worldwide for decades to come.
At the same time, the advent of many higher-level jobs such as data management and analysis, IoT applications, e-commerce, and online learning requires people to grasp new knowledge and skills.
The sharing from the experts' practical experience helped pupils, parents and teachers understand more about the labor market in the digital era, gained a deeper awareness of early career guidance for high school pupils as well as equipped them necessary skills needed in the era of AI.
Also at the workshop, more than 10 prestigious universities and educational organisations at home and abroad introduced parents and students their educational programmes suitable with the innovation of technology, and how to hunt for scholarships at top universities in the world.
