On Sunday, the Da Nang Department of Labor, War Invalids and Social Affairs in collaboration with the municipal Department of Education and Training and the Hai Chau District authorities organised a career counseling and guidance festival for students and workers at the district-based Thanh Nien (Youth) Park.

The career counseling and guidance festival attracts a large number of pupils citywide

The festival saw the participation of 15 junior colleges, 2 intermediate schools, a vocational education centre and 5 vocational education establishments, along with nearly 4,000 students from junior and senior high schools, and continuing education centres in the city.

During the event, the consulting units introduced enrollment information, training programsme, and policies on support, exemption and reduction of tuition fees in vocational training, for participants.

In addition, there were an exhibition displaying training equipment and products made by local pupils and students.

The festival provided the opportunity for pupils to access the vocational education system to determine and choose careers suitable to their abilities, interests and family conditions.
