Champa religious art introduced to students in Da Nang
On Tuesday, the Da Nang Museum of Cham Sculpture held an academic exchange programme about Shiva religion through collections of sculptures displayed at the museum.

Accordingly, lecturers and students of the Da Nang University of Architecture, and the University of Education - the University of Da Nang, had the opportunity to visit the exhibition space and learn about the history of the Da Nang Museum of Cham Sculpture.
In addition, they participated in the academic exchange activities, with a focus on learning about information about Shiva religion, as well as contributed constructive ideas and answered questions related to the academic session to receive attractive gifts from the museum.
This was the first event in a series of activities under the museum education programme themed "Learning about Champa religious art" for students majoring in history, culture, architecture and tourism in the city in 2023.
The programme which lasts until October 2023 features many exciting activities such as visiting the exhibition space; learning about artifacts; exchange activities between students, lecturers and museum reporters; and a contest to make videos about artifacts displayed at the museum and Champa religious art.
The purpose of the programme is to help lecturers and students access fundamental and in-depth knowledge about Champa religious art, and at the same time facilitate students to accumulate practical experience, serving their future careers.
