These are topics that offer innovative and new solutions from the students’ perspective on practical social problems presented directly at 3 scientific councils: Engineering - Health, Business Economy - Society, Language - Pedagogy.

Dominating topics are still technology applications with high commercialization and start-up potential such as research on the production process of probiotics to preserve mangoes with antibacterial chitosan-peptides coatings; IoT application in patient health monitoring with bracelets to monitor health parameters; effective bacterial strain isolation and application in the production of yogurt containing beneficial probiotics with yogurt products combined with coconut jelly; the assessment model of learning process through analyzing learner behaviour in online classroom; applying Blockchain technology to build an e-commerce platform under the C2C model…

At the programme, the science and technology exhibition space named ‘The Science Show of UDA Students 2023’ was first held with 55 posters introducing typical research topics at this year's competition and award winning entries over the past years. On display were products such as Panax ginseng tea from small-leaf clover and Cognac wine from grapes in Ninh Thuan Province.

As of 2023, students from the private Dong A University developed more than 340 scientific research projects.
