The Samsung Viet Nam Complex, Samsung Vina Electronics Company and Viet Nam Successful Youth Organisation launched the Solve for Tomorrow 2023 event in Da Nang on Wednesday.

This year, the Solve for Tomorrow is running until November 11, including 3 rounds and divided into 2 groups. In detail, Group A for junior school students whilst Group B for senior high school students. Students will apply STEM knowledge and design thinking to find and realize creative solutions to solve existing social problems.

The contest is expected to attract about 150,000 students and teachers. The teams that compete in the top 40 will be guided by Samsung's team of senior expert advisors. In particular, Samsung decided to raise the total prize value to VND 8 billion. The school with the first prize winning team will be sponsored a functional classroom - STEM Lab - worth more than VND 1 billion.

In Viet Nam, the contest was held for the first time in 2019 and made a big splash when attracting tens of thousands of students who are passionate about technology.
