The final round of the 4^th Robocar contest in 2023 took place at the Viet Nam - Korea University of Information and Communication Technology under the University of Da Nang on Saturday.

Held from April 16 - May 20, this year’s contest attracted more than 121 teams with 850 students from universities in Central Viet Nam and Central Highlands regions.

Participating teams were required to design their own Robocar models with such manufacturing materials as mica plastic, aluminum structure and foam with multi-tactical operation structure.

After passing the qualifying rounds, the 16 finalist teams continued to perfect their Robocars to ensure functionality, minimise wind resistance and improve the quality to overcome obstacles in the fastest time, thereby reducing energy consumption for robots.

In the final round, each team competed in a relay race consisting of 3 parts: Autonomous car (autonomous vehicle), Racing car (manual control) and shooting objects at designated locations.

As a result, the ARDUOUS SUMMER team won the first prize. The second and third prizes went to the NAM NGUYEN and LURECHICKS teams respectively. These team were from the Viet Nam - Korea University of Information and Communication Technology.

Additionally, there were 12 consolation prizes for outstanding teams.

The total prize value was more than VND50 million.
