Residents and visitors in Da Nang can live stream spectacular fireworks shows for their relatives and friends overseas through VNPT's VinaPhone 5G network during the Da Nang International Fireworks Festival (DIFF) 2023.

Themed ‘Light up the borderless world’, DIFF 2023 will take place from June 2 - July 8 the participation of 8 teams, namely the UK, Italy, Poland, France, Australia, Canada, Finland and Da Nang-Viet Nam.

On the occasion, the Viet Nam Posts and Telecommunications Group (VNPT) has announced its pilot 5G services, aiming at contributing to the realisation of the festival's message.

During the festival, visitors can easily experience Vinaphone's 5G mobile network at the Rong (Dragon) Bridge, Bach Dang and Tran Hung Dao streets, and other areas around the fireworks shooting area.

Aside from live streaming fireworks performances, visitors can use Vinaphone's 5G mobile network for other experience on the internet such as watching movies, listening to music, and attending online conferences.

With a maximum speed of 2,2Gbps, 10 times higher than that of the current 4G network, 5G is expected to solve data network problems while providing smoother speed experiences.

This is the first time Vinaphone's 5G mobile network has been deployed during DIFF 2023.

A representative of VNPT Group said that the trial deployment of VinaPhone 5G at the DIFF 2023 was carried out by VNPT Group to mark the 27^th birthday of VinaPhone network (June 26, 1996 - June 26, 2023).  This not only brings smoother internet experience to customers, but also contributes to promoting advanced telecommunications technology to international friends and visitors.

Till date, VinaPhone 5G networks have been piloted in many provinces and cities across the country with hundreds of thousands of customers who have connected to experience super-fast 5G internet.
