On Tuesday morning, more than 15,400 candidates across Da Nang started the 10th-grade entrance exam for the 2023 - 2024 school year.

As reported by our reporters, present at the exam venues were traffic police and voluntary Youth Union members who were actively involved in reminding parents not to park in front of the school gate to avoid traffic jams and enthusiastically support candidates when necessary.
The delegation of the municipal Department of Education and Training also paid inspection visits to some exam venues to check the strict compliance with exam rules.
This morning, the candidates participated in the Literature exam with duration of 120 minutes, from 8:00 am - 10:00 am. In the afternoon of the same day, they will take part in the foreign language exam in 90 minutes from 2:30pm - 4:00pm. They will take a Maths test tomorrow morning.
A total of 15,484 candidates registered for the 10th-grade entrance exam for the 2023 - 2024 school year. Public senior high schools only announced around 11,432 slots for the 2023 - 2024 academic year, staffed into 266 classes. In which, the Le Quy Don Senior High School for the Gifted has 300 enrollment quotas in 13 classes.
