200 experts meet in Da Nang to discuss renewable energy economics and finance

A total of 200 domestic and international economic experts and social researchers converged in Da Nang at the Fourteenth Vietnam Economist Annual Meeting (VEAM 2023) from July 26-27 to discuss economics and finance of renewable energy.

The two-day event was co-organized by University of Economics under the University of Da Nang, Foreign Trade University Ha Noi (FTU), Development and Policies Research Center (DEPOCEN), and French National Center for Scientific Research (CNRS).

A combined total of 140 reports related to renewable energy economics and finance were presented during the two- day event. Domestic and international experts presented their theoretical and empirical studies, along with situational analysis on hot issues in the global economy, including energy crisis, electricity industry regulations, energy policy, international trade, and green finance.

The Vietnam Economist Annual Meeting is the premier academic conference in Economics in Viet Nam. Running since 2008, it attracts every year dozens of economists and social researchers from around the world to discuss their scholarly and scientific research papers, outputs and programs.
