Da Nang takes lead in digital transformation for 3 consecutive years
Da Nang has secured its top position in the Digital Transformation Index (DTI) rankings in 2022 at provincial and city levels in all three key pillars of digital government, digital economy and digital society.

The information was released by the Ministry of Information and Communications at the Wednesday meeting to review the performance of national digital transformation in the first half of 2023.
According to the DTI 2022 report, 100% of ministries, provinces and cities all have an increase in their indexes compared to 2021, relatively showing great efforts made by authorities at grassroots level in digital transformation.
The Ministry of Planning and Investment went up one place to rank first among ministries and ministry-level agencies providing public services in 2022.
Meanwhile, the Vietnam Academy of Science and Technology led the rankings of ministries and ministry-level agencies that do not offer public services.
Da Nang topped the national rankings, followed by Ho Chi Minh City, Quang Ninh Province, Thua Thien Hue and Can Tho City. Thus, Da Nang ranked first in DTI for 3 consecutive years from 2020 to 2022.
The city led in all three pillars of digital government, digital economy and digital society, and the component indexes of digital awareness, digital institutions, digital human resources. It ranked second in digital infrastructure after Ho Chi Minh City.
