The Da Nang Startup and Innovation Festival (SURF) 2023 is slated for September 29 at the city-based Duy Tan University.

The annual event, organised for the innovative start-up community in the city, aims to connect and support start-up projects in order to look for business opportunities, and advertise products and services, thereby gradually forming a community of angel investors, venture capital funds and startups in the locality.

During the upcoming festival, there will be seminars on building Da Nang into an innovative city, unleashing capital for innovative start-ups, and boosting international integration of local innovation startup ecosystem in the context of globalisation. Additionally, a startup exhibition will feature more than 80 booths of startup projects.

Besides, an innovation space Da Nang - Seoul, and innovation investment fund, will be launched during the festival.

Furthermore, a number of programmes and side events will be held, an innovation startup exhibition, using the city-developed virtual reality platform scheduled from August 20 - December 30 with about 100 participating booths, and an innovation startup competition with 30 teams.
