Speaking at the opening ceremony, Mr. Duong Hoang Van Ban, Deputy Director of the city’s Department of Science and Technology highlighted the importance of technology supply and demand connection among businesses. He also stressed the urgency in linking with technology sourcing and research partners to ensure survival and growth in the competitive market.

He added the current outstanding economic and industrial development posed serious challenges to the environment. The investment and development of green technology played an important role, requiring measures to respond and create sustainable solutions.

Therefore, the city is always looking for businesses that are dedicated to environmentally responsible and committed to applying green technology to daily production and business activities.

The municipal Department of Science and Technology pledged to support and accompany businesses in finding innovative solutions, promoting digital transformation, and creating a smart and energy-saving working environment, Mr. Ban emphasised.

Aside from the two seminars, the science and technology exhibition themed ‘Technology supply - demand connection’ attracted nearly 40 booths of businesses in Da Nang and such localities as Ho Chi Minh City, Ha Noi, Nghe An, Ca Mau and Binh Thuan. They introduced their advanced products, technologies and solutions. This helped to strengthen the connection of technology transfer activities between technology supply and demand sides, promoting technological innovation of local enterprises, and aiming to expand connections between Da Nang and other provinces and cities in the region and the whole country.
