The Youth Union organisation and the Students' Association of the University of Da Nang held a ceremony on Monday to celebrate the 74^th anniversary of the Traditional Day of Students and the Vietnamese Students' Association (January 9).

During the event, the Students' Association of  the University of Da Nang awarded the titles of "Students of 5 Goods" to 172 individuals, and 4 groups. These are students with excellent achievements in studies and life activities completing 5 criteria: ‘Good study - Good ethics - Good volunteering - Good integration - Good fitness’.

In addition, the 'White Bird Wings' Award were given to 13 groups and individuals.

Launched by the Students' Association of the University of Da Nang at the beginning of the 2022 - 2023 school year, the award aimed to honour individuals and groups for their remarkable achievements in association work, and their outstanding models, solutions, initiatives, innovative start-up projects, and scientific research topics which have been successfully applied in student movements at all levels.

On the occasion, the Students' Association donated 200 free bus tickets, worth VND50 million in total, to disadvantaged students to facilitate them to return home to celebrate Tet with their families.
