Da Nang university signs a cooperation agreement with International Association for Hydro-Environment Engineering and Research
The Da Nang University of Science and Technology (DUT) and the International Association for Hydro-Environment Engineering and Research (IAHR) have just signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU).

The MoU is an important foundation for the Faculty of Water Works Construction to expand and enhance cooperation with reputable international organisations, as well as opens up more opportunities for lecturers and students studying at the Faculty to participate in many common research programmes, and receive Master's and Doctoral scholarships.
Under the deal, the two sides will boost cooperation in training and scientific research in many fields of mutual interest, through academic exchange activities, seminars, conferences, and other student exchange and training activities.
Additionally, the two units will pay more attention to building joint research projects funded by IAHR and other non-governmental organisations to improve the research capacity of the Faculty and the university, thereby significantly contributing to solving common problems related to water resources, environment, climate change, natural disaster prevention and sustainable development.
Aside from the DUT, IAHR has also recently signed an MOU with the Ha Noi Water Resources University. In particular, the Ha Noi Water Resources University has been promoting to bring the 42nd IAHR World Congress to Viet Nam for the first time which is slated for 2027. DUT will participate in this global event as is a host member.
