Da Nang's students to compete at the world's FIRST robotic championship
Team FPT3DN.Robotown from the Da Nang-based FPT Senior High School have recently triumphed at the FIRST® Tech Challenge (FTC) Viet Nam robotic competition for the 2023-2024 school year.

Thanks to this, the team represents Viet Nam at the 2024 FIRST® Championship which is slated for April 17-20 in the US.
The FIRST® Championship is one of the most prestigious international robotics competitions for high school pupils around the world. Earlier, the FIRST® authorised FPT University to organise the robotic competition in Viet Nam following the rules and standards of the US' FIRST® Tech Challenge.
Held for the first time in Viet Nam, the FIRST® Tech Challenge Viet Nam competition for the 2023 - 2024 school year attracted more than 2,000 pupils nationwide.
More than 270 outstanding contestants competed in the final round of the competition to win a spot in the global final in the US.
Contestants are pupils from grades 7 - 12 belonging to 26 teams from the Ha Noi Amsterdam Senior High School for the Gifted, the Da Nang-based Le Quy Don Senior High School for the Gifted, the Phu Yen-based Luong Van Chanh Senior High School for the Gifted, and FPT Schools.
