The Da Nang-based Duy Tan University, on Thursday, donated a cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) assistive technology to the Tran Phu Senior High School.

The donation of eCPR machine is within the framework of the event about commercialisation and transfer of scientific and technical technology between the Duy Tan University and the Wellbeing Health Education Organisation.

At the same time, the Wellbeing Health Education Organisation gave an entire account to learn first aid theory for the school's 12th graders.

The donation activity aims to equip pupils with necessary knowledge and skills of first aid and cardiopulmonary resuscitation, thereby helping them to have more ability to protect themselves and help others in emergencies.

The eCPR machine was researched and created by the staff at the Center of Visualization & Simulation (CVS) of the Duy Tan University. The product is patented by the Intellectual Property Office and has received widespread attention and application.

The eCPR machine combines hardware and software, integrating IoT technology and virtual reality. The product aims to raise awareness of first aid skills in the community, especially pupils and related parties.
