The Da Nang Children's Cultural Palace in collaboration with the Haki Education Organisation inaugurated the Life Skills Education Centre for Children in the city on Saturday.

The purpose of the centre is to equip local children with life knowledge, skills and attitudes, and help them have new learning methods, as well as diversify forms of activities, models, and playgrounds for local children in the city.

During their studying at the centre, children will be equipped with practical knowledge, communication skills, and sharp, positive thinking, thereby contributing to creating a new generation of excellent and strong citisens for the future of the city in particular and the country in general.

On the occasion, the Organising Committee awarded 200 full scholarships to 20 pupils at primary and junior high schools in Hai Chau and Cam Le districts, bringing the total number of trainees at the centre to more than 300.
