Da Nang charts vision to build strong intellectual team by 2045
Da Nang targets to develop an intellectual team in both quantity and quality by 2030, especially the team of leading experts and scientists in key, crucial and new fields, which meets its requirements for further construction and development, contributing to the cause of the country’s industrialisation and modernisation.

The remarks were made by Head of the municipal Department of Publicity and Training Nguyen Dinh Vinh at a meeting on Tuesday to disseminate Resolution No. 45-NQ/TW of the 13th Party Central Committee on "Continuing to build and promote the role of the intellectual team to meet the requirements of rapid and sustainable national development in the new period" and the action program No. 38-CTr/TU of the Party Committee on implementing the resolution.
Mr. Vinh highlighted the significance of perfecting mechanisms and policies to ensure feasibility and synchronisation, creating opportunities, conditions and motivation for the intellectual team to develop comprehensively, and enhance capacity, qualifications and dedication to the city.
Along with that, importance should be attached to developing a number of research facilities and higher education facilities at advanced level among the leading groups in the region, he added.
The University of Da Nang eyes becoming a national university by 2030, whilst the number of inventions, scientific works, scientific and technological products, high-level literary and artistic works, and scientific works published in prestigious domestic and international journals will be increased.
By 2045, the city's intellectual team is expected to grow strong and have high quality, and be among the top national countries. Many influential scientists across the country will have won national and international awards in various fields. Many scientific and technological organisations, and training and research facilities, will meet international standards to meet the requirements of developed countries.
