Previously, the Huawei ICT Competition 2023 -2024 qualifying round was held in VietNam. The contest was organised by Huawei, in cooperation with the Viet Nam Digital Communications Association (VDCA), to create a healthy technology playground, helping students to enhance the latest technological knowledge to get ready to participate in the future digital human resources.

This was the second consecutive time Vietnamese students have finished among the top teams in this prestigious competition. This achievement affirmed the capacity of Vietnamese students in the world knowledge arena.

According to Vu Kiem Van, the Vice President cum General Secretary of the VDCA, the competition creates a useful academic platform in which ICT students from across the world can come together for exchanges.

It is hoped that Huawei will continue to maintain and strive to enhance the overall quality of the competition, providing high-quality training programmes and learning materials, not only for participants, but also for long-term collaboration programmes in the future.

Since the first edition in 2015, the Huawei ICT Competition's influence has only kept growing. The Huawei ICT Competition 2023 - 2024 has attracted more than 170,000 students from over 2,000 colleges and universities across over 80 countries and territories.

Through this competition, Huawei aims to provide students with a platform to compete healthily and exchange ideas, thus enhancing their ICT knowledge and practical skills as well as increasing their ability to innovate by using new technologies and platforms.
