The Da Nang Department of Information and Communications has announced an update to the Danang Smart City app, introducing the "Shopping Assistance" feature. This new functionality allows residents to conveniently order essential goods and supplies from home without having to go out in rainy or flooded conditions due to natural disasters.

In addition to timely support during natural disasters, storms, or pandemics, a distinctive benefit of the "Shopping Assistance" feature on the digital citizen application “Danang Smart City” is that residents can order a variety of essentials from multiple stores and platforms in a single order. Furthermore, users of this feature enjoy free delivery.

Launched in 2020, Danang Smart City is a multi-service mobile application currently offering over 30 smart services and utilities, including information lookup, notifications, alerts, public service records, traffic violation reports, land prices, and rainfall monitoring.
