The University of Da Nang held a ceremony on Monday to honour valedictorians of member universities and affiliated training units, and commend and reward students with excellent studying achievements in the 2023-2024 school year.

Specifically, 9 valedictorians of member universities and affiliated training units received VND 10 million each. Meanwhile, 6 students who were directly admitted to universities were presented with VND 4 million each. 32 students with excellent academic and training achievements in the 2023-2024 school year were awarded with VND 3 million each.

At the same time, the University of Da Nang donated 60 scholarships, worth VND 5 million, to students in difficult circumstances. The total value of the awards and scholarships was VND 500 million in total.

In the 2024-2025 school year, the University of Da Nang, together with its member universities, affiliated units, prestigious organisations and enterprises, will implement many practical and meaningful scholarship programmes for students. Included are the Talent Development Scholarship - Never Give Up, and scholarships from the Viet Nam Education and Social Assistance Fund (VESAF) and the Da Nang branch of the Viet Nam Bank for Agriculture and Rural Development. The total estimated budget for these scholarship programmes is about VND 1.5 billion.
