Connections in high-quality human resource training
The University of Da Nang (UD) recently organised a workshop on ‘Connections in training high-quality human resources for cities and provinces in the North Central and Central Coast regions. Addressing the workshop, Standing Vice Chairman of the Da Nang People's Committee Ho Ky Minh said that in the past, the UD and its member schools have basically met the city's high-quality training needs.

According to Resolution No. 26-NQ/TW of the Politburo on socio-economic development and ensuring national defense and security in the North Central and Central Coast regions by 2030, with a vision towards 2045, Da Nang is positioned as a major socio-economic centre of the region. Therefore, the requirement for human resource training focuses on new fields such as semiconductors, artificial intelligence (AI) and international finance.
With these new fields, some member schools of the UD have opened direct training majors or related majors, but in the coming time, there will still be a need for close coordination between schools and local specialised agencies to improve the quantity and quality to meet actual needs.
Delegates attending the workshop shared, exchanged experiences and proposed solutions to promote effective, sustainable and substantive connection among the State- School - Enterprise in training high-quality human resources; issues on human resource needs to meet the requirements of economic restructuring and regional linkage; policies to encourage enterprises to coordinate with schools in the training process to link training and actual use of human resources in the digital age and international integration; new professions such as IT, AI, semiconductor microchips suitable for the creative potential of people in the central region.
