Every day that passes is a day when she always spends time observing, listening and sharing in order to be able to understand children better. And most importantly, she always learns how to feel happiness from the innocent eyes or a natural saying of children.
Recalling her early days of working as a preschool teacher, Ms. Thanh started from studying a primary class on child care, then continued to study from college to university in Preschool Education at the University of Education and Science - the University of Da Nang with the desire to improve her expertise and expand her knowledge to better serve the work of teaching and caring for young children.
“When I was first assigned to the class, I was confused and worried about how to make sure the children played well and were well-behaved. I also didn’t know how to decorate the classroom to create a space that was interesting, attractive and suitable for the children’s development” Ms. Thanh confided.
However, with her love for children and her eagerness to learn, she began to learn from experienced colleagues, and at the same time spent time reading documents from other classes to accumulate more knowledge and improve her skills.
Throughout her career, she always carried with her the image of her beloved father. It was her father who guided her into the education industry.
“My father used to be a teacher for people in the neighborhood in the popular education movement, and he also participated in work at the cooperative and the cultural house. Therefore, I inherited many things from my father, especially the love for teaching. When I shared my dream of becoming a teacher, he encouraged me and said that teaching preschool would be very suitable for me" Ms. Thanh recalled.
Through her experience and knowledge, she realised that dedication and love for children is a solid foundation for her to overcome all difficulties when teaching in the field of preschool education.
To meet the increasingly innovative requirements, she continued to study and graduated with a bachelor's degree in Educational Management from the Ha Noi National University of Education in 2012.
To help children truly see the classroom as their second home, Ms. Thanh always has creative teaching methods, so that children love going to school every day. With her dedication and enthusiasm for the profession, she is always a shining example in spreading love to children and bringing positive thoughts and actions to her colleagues.
With a love for the profession and children, she always keeps a bright smile and affectionate eyes, and wholeheartedly cares for the children from early morning to pick them up at school, until late afternoon to take them home with their parents. Therefore, families and parents are very secure when entrusting her with their work.
Not only stopping at teaching and educational management, she also actively participates in scientific and technical creative activities, and has many innovative initiatives to improve the quality of care and education for preschool children.
Over the past 34 years of working in the education sector, she regularly takes part in competitions for excellent teachers at district and municipal levels, as well as professional training courses.
Notably, she also has many valuable initiatives, contributing to improving the quality of care and education for preschool children. In the five consecutive years, Ms. Thanh has had 2 initiatives at the municipal level, and 6 ones at the district level. Her initiatives have created positive impacts and spread widely in the city's education sector.
In 2024, Ms. Ha Thanh was one of the 251 outstanding teachers and educational staff to be honoured for their creativity and contributions to the education cause.
With education being the top national policy of the Party and State, she hopes that the policies and regimes for preschool teachers and educational staff will be improved. This will help them not only ensure their lives but also feel happy when their work is respected and appreciated by society. At the same time, the love and sharing from family, community, and parents will further motivate teachers to confidently devote their passion, energy, and intelligence to the cause of education.
