The Da Nang Department of Science and Technology, the Da Nang Business Incubator (DNES) and the Google Developer MienTrung community group (GDG MienTrung) opened the GDG DevFest MienTrung 2024 tech event  on Saturday.

This year's event has the theme "Catch me if you can" which is considered as an invitation for programmers to grasp and participate in the race to develop knowledge and skills, and improve their own capacity.

The event focused on updating leading technology trends, improving technology knowledge, and offering direct programming practice for programmers in the city.

During the event, the speakers informed the participants about the trend of artificial intelligence (AI); how to integrate AI into technology development and production; and new platforms and applications at the present time.

In the programming practice section, about 200 programmers were guided by experts on methods to develop applications and technology solutions based on integrating AI into chatbot building, as well as to practice network security techniques with resources from Google.

DevFest is an annual programme organised by more than 1,100 Google Developer Groups (GDGs) around the globe for technology lovers.
