Along with teaching and research activities, universities across Da Nang regularly organise specialised international conferences with the participation of domestic and international experts, scientists and managers, greatly contributing to affirming their prestige in teaching and training.

In 2024, the University of Da Nang and its member schools hosted many international events and conferences, thereby connecting and gathering hundreds of managers, scientists, and experts from universities and research institutes around the world.

Many international conferences with topics suitable for current trends were organized, including the international conference themed "Marketing in the era of connection" organised by the University of Economics; SEAAIR 2020 entitled “Creative and sustainable education in the digital age” by the University of Foreign Language Studies; the 4^th international conference on “Advanced construction technology towards sustainable development” by the University of Science and Technology; the international scientific conference “Sustainable university development: Opportunities and challenges” by the University of Da Nang; and the international conference on emergency medicine and resuscitation by the School of Medicine and Pharmacy.

The aforementioned international conferences saw the participation of lecturers and experts worldwide. After each conference, member universities signed cooperation agreements with partners, opening up many opportunities for lecturers and students to enhance academic exchanges and joint research, share experiences for sustainable university development, and enhance the prestige and position of universities.

According to the representative of the leadership of the University of Foreign Language Studies, the international conferences brought together many scholars and experts to discuss the issues raised; and provided opportunities for managers, researchers, and experts to meet, share, and develop knowledge together, thereby contributing to innovation and improving the quality of training and scientific research in the school. At the same time, through the discussion sessions, experts and scientists introduced and suggested appropriate solutions and proposals.

In recent years, the University of Foreign Language Studies ​​has strengthened its cooperation with prestigious international organisations, agencies and universities around the world to organise important international conferences and seminars, contributing significantly to the overall success of the University of Da Nang, and helping to consolidate its position as one of the leading universities in Viet Nam.

Assoc. Prof. Dr. Le Tien Dung, Vice Rector of the University of Science and Technology, said that specialised international seminars offered leading experts a chance to meet and discuss academics, strengthen cooperation and promote professional activities. These seminars contributed to expanding cooperative relations between the schools and universities, research institutes and enterprises in the same fields.

According to Assoc. Prof. Dr. Le Quang Son, Vice President of the University of Da Nang, from international conferences, the University of Da Nang has created forums for experts, managers, scientists and lecturers to review, evaluate and summarise issues and situations in the actual development of the university, as well as to share advanced ideas and excellent practices, thereby finding solutions for sustainable university development.

Through proactively chairing and participating in many major projects, in recent times, the University of Da Nang has made strong steps towards international cooperation and integration, contributing to clearly affirming its reputation, truly being the destination of national and international events, and a reliable partner of leading educational and scientific organisations.
