The Department of Education and Training of Lien Chieu District in Da Nang inaugurated a STEM education practice room at the Nguyen Luong Bang Junior High School on Friday.

The room was invested from the city budget with a cost of VND 1.8 billion, which was implemented from the end of November 2024.

This is the first STEM education practice room in Lien Chieu District and the Nguyen Luong Bang Junior High School is the first school in the city to have the most modern and advanced classroom system with STEM practice room, digital classroom and digital library.

Currently, the STEM education practice room at the school is fully invested with modern furniture and equipment, including a 75-inch interactive screen, laptops, STEM sets of various fields, and smart sound systems.

On the occasion, the Lien Chieu District People's Committee equipped some initial STEM equipment for 12 other schools in the locality with a budget of VND 1.6 billion in total. This has significantly contributed to universalising STEM education for all levels of education, and promoting the early training of future human resources, for Lien Chieu District in particular and the city in general.
